4 out of 5 stars Good price, the new design is a little complex   September 13, 2008

I bought a new camelbak after losing my old one. It was a good buy. I don't like the new version has much as the old one. Maybe I will get used to it. I used it today on a hike in Colorado.

4 out of 5 stars Great for short runs, but not enough water for a full day of activity   September 11, 2008

I bought this to wear on my back during runs, because sometimes I get thirsty and I dont want to carry around a water bottle. It is great for that - it is lightweight, so you dont really notice it until it is about half empty and then you get the sloshing noises... nothing to complain about. It keeps the water cool even when it is hot out (except the water in the tube). For runs, I would say this is highly recommended.
I started carrying it in my patrol car (I'm a police officer) and drinking out of it during the day (with all that gear on, plus I live in Alabama, it can get really hot) instead of having to get bottles of water. This works great and the water stays relatively cool all day, but I usually empty it before the shift is over.
In short, if you need enough water for a long trip, or a day's worth of riding around and getting out in the heat, yo may need a bigger camelback. If you are going on runs and need a good hydration method, this is the way to go.

Only con (for running) I can think of at the moment is that the drinking tube kinda gets in the way when not in use. You can clip it to the pack using the plastic clip, but then you have to fiddle with it while youre running to get i

4 out of 5 stars Good for long distance runs   September 7, 2008

I wanted something that held more water than a fuel belt for my long distance runs in the trails. After an initial adjustment period I learned how to use the straps properly and it allowed me to run my first 50K. Slows me down somewhat but if you are going the distance on the trails it definitely is very useful...

5 out of 5 stars Great pack   August 28, 2008

This is my first hydration pack and it sure does what I was hoping it would do. It's small and light, holds 2L of water which is enough for 2 hours on the track for both me and my wife. What's more, it also holds my wallet, keys and cellphone. I always pop a bunch of ice cubes in there especially on hot days. The only problem is that the water left in the tube warms up and you have to drink that first before you reach the cooler water in the main tank.

5 out of 5 stars Your shipping sucks.   August 24, 2008

This company had some troubling reviews. Overall the only problem I had was the terribly slow shipping, the price they charged they should have used U.P.S. WITH REAL TRACKING AND FASTER SERVICE.
