5 out of 5 stars Port-A-John Rentals are over!   June 11, 2008

We held a concert in our back yard, and priced some portable toilet rentals --ARRGHHH! I did some hunting and comparing and found this to be way less than renting, and convenient enough to suit my small concert venue. And my wife didn't have to complain about my originally-suggested toilet-seat-on-a-bucket idea. It sells for a decent price, works nicely, and cleans up good, too.

5 out of 5 stars Great little toilet   June 7, 2008

I bought this item to go in my horse trailer. How many times have you gone out riding and there is no where to go potty. Im tired of that so the dilemma is solved...
This toilet is sturdy (Im a big woman) and plenty tall enough off the ground. Its wide enough and holds lots of water. I looked at other toilets and by far this one is the best of the lot. Im not going to write a book or even get technical. All I have to say Im happy with my purchase and so is my bladder....

5 out of 5 stars VIsa 268 Potty   May 30, 2008

We purchased this potty to take camping with us. We have three small children and often camp in locations far from the facilities. This proved a good choice for us. We like the fact that the large holding tank, althought we filled the first one up quickly, the kids had a good time flushing. One thing that did help with the flushing is keeping the toilet level. We put ours in the shower house, which we locate on a slope so the water can drain. To level the toilet our I just took an old towel and rolled it up and placed it underneath. If you are looking for a potty, I would spend a little more and definitely get the larger tank. We camped for five days and emptied only three times. One more thing if the flushing or rinsing levers start to stick a little, use a little vasoline, and they'll work just like new. We had a lot of mud and dirt to deal with on this trip.

4 out of 5 stars Modern Toilet Works Wonders!,   May 19, 2008

This Port'O John, which is basically a traveling toilet, is a mild example of modern American genius at work. Designed by the team at Pzizer, which manufactures toilet piping vents and toilets for wheel bound people, it utilizes a battery to flush the waste and a collector unit that stores it in small plastic bags, easily disposed of along your travel route or at a restaurant garbage trash bin. Can fit inside a 4 door mid-size family vehicle, and comes with "spice" air deodorant and a pack of "rash free" toilet paper. I found it heavy to carry but eventually used an old wheelchair to push it around. Works good but don't use flames around it as the methane gas builds up.
