Great backpacking tent that only weighs 5.37 pounds. The design is made for maxium square footage utilization and ease of in and out of tent. It comes with a specially engineered framing system, that allows very easy assembly for one person that assembles outside of tent and underneath fly, giving more room inside the tent. On the inside of the tent, Wenger put a smart ring in the center roof, that a flashlight or latern can be attached, making interior lighting more convenient. Large mesh roof and wall vents for increased ventillation makes for a good night sleep. Duffle bag has hook, so you can use it to hang food or other items out of the way, making your campsite more organized. This tent features Swissgaurd weatherproofing, so you will stay dry when the weather turns bad. Wenger, the maker of the Swiss Army knife, offers a whopping 10 Year Warranty on this product. In order to save our trees and be environmentally conscious, we will ship this in the manufacturers packaging, since it is a very durable 200 pound stress point box. If this is a gift, you will have to order gift wrap services to have tent shipped inside a exterior box.

We took this backpacking in Colorado, and it passed the field test with flying colors. The tent kept us dry. The vestibule in the front was great for keeping shoes and packs dry, yet out of the inside of the tent, which is cozy for two people. The construction is good. It is reasonably light and durable. I am not a regular backpacker, but it impressed the more seasoned veteran among us. It is a good value and I recommend it highly.
