Product Description
Very spacious and durable, Columbia's Crooked River Gazebo offers a roomy place to hang out in the shade or be protected from an unexpected drizzle while camping, picnicking, tailgating, cheering on a soccer team, backyard barbecues or any other outdoor activity. Measuring 15 by 13 feet with a center peak height of 106 inches, the gazebo provides a generous 195 square feet of shelter and is comfortable for even the tallest members of your party without having to duck to enter and exit.

The gazebo features Columbia's waterproofing system, which will help keep you dry when an unexpected drizzle interrupts your event. Setting up the gazebo is quite simple, due to its First-Up design. The steel frame comes fully assembled and only requires two people and about five minutes to open it by pulling and extending the frame, which is easily accomplished by walking it out while each person holds a leg on diagonal sides. An expandable carry bag is included for convenient transport and storage.

  • Height: 106 inches
  • Weight: 55.64 pounds
  • Fly: 1000mm polyester 150D canopy with seam tape

About Columbia Sportswear
Founded in 1938, Columbia Sportswear Company has grown from a small family-owned hat distributor to one of the world's largest outerwear brands and the leading seller of ski-wear in the United States. Columbia's extensive product line includes a wide variety of outerwear, sportswear, rugged footwear and accessories. Columbia specializes in developing innovative products that are functional yet stylish and offer great value. Eighty-year-old matriarch Gert Boyle, Chairman of the Board, and her son, Tim Boyle, President and CEO, lead the company.

Columbia's history starts with Gert's parents, Paul and Marie Lamfrom, when they fled Germany in 1937. They bought a small hat distributorship in Portland, Oregon, and named it Columbia Hat Company, after the river bordering the city. Soon frustrated by poor deliveries from suppliers, the Lamfroms decided to start manufacturing products themselves. In 1948, Gert married college sweetheart Neal Boyle, who joined the family business and later took the helm of the growing company. When Neal suddenly died of a heart attack in 1970, Gert enlisted help from Tim, then a college senior. After that, it wasn't long before business really started to take off. Columbia was one of the first companies to make jackets from waterproof/breathable fabric. They introduced the breakthrough technology called the Columbia Interchange System, in which a shell and liner combine for multiple wearing options. In the early 1980s, then 60-year-old Gert began her role as "Mother Boyle" in Columbia's successful and popular advertising campaign.

The company went public in 1998 and moved into a new era as a world leader in the active outdoor apparel industry. Today, Columbia Sportswear employs more than 1,800 people around the world and distributes and sells products in more than 50 countries and to more than 12,000 retailers internationally.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars We put Columbia to the test!!!!   June 27, 2008

We set this up on our patio. Quite easy, no parts to assemble!! Yay!! My husband bolted it down so it will stay up through summer and fall. We also purchased the screen to go around it. Only downfall was the poles are suppose to have three holes drilled on the bottom for the hooks on the cover and the screening. This one only has one hole per pole. It worked out o.k. though.

Within a week of having it set up we had a major storm come through. Large winds and marble size, or larger, hail. It didn't move and the seams stayed intact. No holes, tears, collapsing, nothing!! We are very happy with this and the neighbors commented how much they like it.

Super investment to keep the bugs and sun outside while you sit in the shade and stay bugless inside!!

4 out of 5 stars Easy to set up and it stands up straight & sturdy.   May 26, 2008
I bought this because it was the perfect size for my deck. I was pleasantly surprised that the frame was an nice all-in-one expanding piece of engineering that worked exactly as the directions said it would. Very easy to put up by 2 people and the fabric seems very durable.
