Not only is this sleeping bag lightweight, but it compresses to a mere 6.5 inches by 10 inches. Mountain Hardwear reduced this bag's weight by welding its insulation directly to the shell, eliminating the need for baffles. The lack of baffles also helps the insulation stand up to repeated stuffing and washing. Partial zippers on both sides of the sleeping bag shave ounces, but still let you sit up and read. The DWR-coated Ultralamina 32 stays warm even when it's wet, and the women's-specific cut creates increased insulation in the torso and footbox.
