excellent October 15, 2008 Great product, versatile and durable. Do not go near the water without these bags to protect your dry gear.
highly functional and easy-to-use dry bag August 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i bought 2 of these bags for a recent 11-day trip on the tatshenshini river. they worked flawlessly and i recommend them highly!
my only caveat is to consider the dimensions closely. the bag (13 inches by 24/33 inches) feels long-and-skinny and it's sometimes hard to get what you want without pulling everything out first
otherwise, i bought two yellow ones and without any difference in color, it was hard to remember what was in each bag. however, if you think they might go into the water (fall out of the boat/raft/etc) bright colors work much better than dark ones. a couple people on our trip lost dry bags after wrapping a raft around a rock - and all of the ones lost were dark colored, the brighter ones were found more easily. so it's a bit of a trade-off here
a few other people had the larger ~ 100 liter bags with backpack straps (eg: SealLine Boundary Pack) - these allow easier access to the contents inside, but they're heavier to carry and you have more eggs in one basket

Highly recommended if you need to keep a lot of gear in one place and completely dry. They come in a number of different sizes so just get the one or two that fits your needs. There are a bunch of other brands that work equally well but this was the only one that I found with the size that I absolutely needed and with the free shipping and no sales tax, the price is right.

When only dry will do March 20, 2007 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have rafted rivers from the Gauley to the Grand Canyon to Cataract Canyon and a host of others inbetween. I can say that these dry bags are just that...dry. I have had them on the bottom of a pile of bags in a boat in 1-2 inches of water all day and not a drop of water entered the bag. I have used them on multi-day Jeep trips in all kinds of weather and not a drop of water in the bag. They may cost a bit more but if dryness is your goal this is the bag for you. In a word...quality.
