| Customer Reviews:
Recharging issues November 18, 2008 It's bright, has a nifty handle that swivels for carry or search use, and has a floor mounting folding stand. But that's about all of the good in this light. The re-charging system for the battery in this light will destroy the battery if the light is plugged into the charger with the light's push-in type on/off switch in the "on" position. Problem is, you have no way to know if the switch is in the "on" or "off" position (once your battery is depleted)! Once you burn out the battery from making this very easy-to-make mistake, you're done. There are no replacement batteries for it (the closest ones cost $25, which is more than the light itself!) There are better buys out there - steer clear of this one.
Decent November 17, 2008 The placement of the on/off switch makes it really hard to use while trying to do other things. Also does not seem as bright at far distances as my 1 mill candle power one.
megalite October 15, 2008 good product, just a bit larger than I had anticipated. but it definitely does the job.
