I bought this flashlight for walking the dog at night. I wanted something durable, light in weight, with excellent battery life and this flashlight delivers because it definitely offers all these features and more.
I'm sure many people wonder if a flashlight this small and light,running off of 2AA batteries would ever be able to throw off sufficient light to be useful. Well, this item is certainly sufficient to get around in the dark, whether it's in the house during a power outage or walking a trail at night.
Even though the white LEDS appear to be brighter to the eyes(and use more power) than the green bulbs, I found that the green light really enhances the clarity of objects it falls upon, while definitely preserving night vision. This flashlight has sold me on the utility of green LEDS.
The unit is very solidly built of sturdy metal, with separate high quality switches for the white and green LEDS. The package included a nice holster with a wide belt loop, a smaller velcro loop for attaching to something like a back pack and a small snapping pocket on the side that is a snug fit for a pair of replacement batteries. Two AA batteries also were included in the blister pack.
Very nice buy for a small, quality LED flashlight. The green LEDs are no gimmick, they do provide excellent illumination while preserving your night vision. Highly recommended.

Bought this flashfight for Deer Season here in Michigan. Green Filter worked great. My only complaint is that the unit is a little too large in diameter.
