4D MagLite upgraded to an LED October 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The 4D cell MagLite is a remarkable piece of equipment in its original form. The upgrading to a LED made it better. I live in the country and I need a light that will brighten up the dark. This one does it. The color rendition with the LED is great, even better than with the original bulb. Chris
New life in an old body September 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My four cell MagLITE has always been kept at the ready, but I've always been concerned about the aging incandescent bulb. Now with the upgrade LED module I have the same brightness and range but no concern about premature burnout. The light will be there when I need it.
Seemed kinda pricey, but September 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought one anyway because MagLITES last. So pleased with first one I bought 2 more for my other MagLITES.
Excellent Upgrade June 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Our Mag-Lite Flashlights are much brighter and their batteries will last til the cows come home.
a good low energy replacement June 24, 2008 I don't think it's brighter, but it's a good replacement as it uses less power for the same brightness. So for emergencies when you are out of power the led will last a long time but doesn't provide more light than the original bulb from maglite.
