It doesn't slip off either - even when it shifts some (I'm a toss and turn sleeper). Nice quality stretchy fabric material on the sides too. I've washed it several times now and it's still fabulous. It is quite snug and does not stretch out while in use. I have been very pleased with this purchase. The pad appears to be made of superior-quality materials. I, too, have purchased other brands (sometimes more pricey) and have been disappointed, Not here. And, at this price it's a bargain.
