Constructed of cold crack PVC for outdoor use, even on the coldest winter days. Deflates easily to fold and store. Electric air pump recommended for rapid inflation (sold separately). The sled is very durable, handling an adult and kid without any problems. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it was shipped in the manufacturer's box, not contained within another box, and it was quite tore up when I received it. The sled itself was not damaged, however, and provided many hours of snowy fun.
