 Wobbly rack. November 11, 2008
The rack doesn't fit tightly into the receiver, so it rocks back and forth around corners. So far I've only carried things I could see through the back window, and although they rocked along with the rack they didn't seem to budge in separately from the rack.
 Works for camping gear & Fire wood October 9, 2008
Recently purchased the lund 601010 for carrying camping gear and firewood. I did not purchase the rails for the carrier, but opted for the Rola 59102 cargo bag which I then strapped to the Lund Hitch carrier. I was able to carry enough firewood for 3 nights, and some gear without mud or water touching them. Great combo.
Very handy July 18, 2008
Very useful! There's a lot of carrying things you can do with it. There are more eye catching design out there for more money, good for luxury/expensive suv and trucks. What I have seen, this is the most practical basic look. It is easy to assemble. Do not tighten the bolts yet. Some of the holes after you have bolted the first few needs a little effort to align. You won't see the carrier at the drivers position so I attached an orange snow pole marker at the back for visibility and as a guide going in reverse. I have also attached a carrier side bar. The side bar covers the back reflector so I have to buy a pair of silver/red tape reflector. Fine if you don't have a side bar, I wish the reflector was not pre-installed. It is not heavy and you can keep it standing on its side and won't take lot of space, provided you have a side bar or else it needs a good support to stand.

The carrier was exactly what we expected. Very sturdy. We were even able to open the back door on our Sequoia SUV. Does require about an hour to assemble it. Amazed at the fast delivery during holiday time.
