Real heavy power solid anti-blot-crop stuff. You tube shows this type is one of the bolt-crop-cut-able type out of tens. Meanwhile only one type is non-crop-able.
However, my opinion is if you are the target, whatever security chain you use means nothing. Furthermore, not every theft equips with the monster type bolt crop cutter.
This chain is good enough & powerful enough for anti-theft.
 Very Hefty Chain Lock July 3, 2008
Kryptonite New York 5'6" Chain and disc lock I purchased this lock to protect a hybrid electric bicycle. Even though I live in suburbia, I sometimes ride to places where bicycle theft is common. I wanted to replace a cable lock that was hard to stretch out and always tried to spring back to the coiled position. This chain lock is very flexible and easy to stretch out so that the bicycle isn't pulled over while trying to lock it to a post. I got the 5'6" version rather than the heavier 5' version because I thought the extra length would come in handy when locking to telephone poles. I thought the 10 mm chain size referred to to the link width. It actually refers to the link thickness. It is a massive chain. Any potential thief would be intimidated just by its appearance. Plus: very strong and flexible. Minus: heavy and bulky.
