this is the real deal!! November 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i've been a hair dresser for 23 years. right after graduating from beauty school, i went on a crash diet and lost 80 lbs in 4 months....i also lost half of my hair! i freaked out and immediately saw a dermatologist, who recommended a/g-pro (6 a day). within 3 weeks my hair loss was almost non-existent, and 4 months later my hair was restored to its origional thickness. i recently began losing hair again due to a declining thyroid gland, and started taking the pills again....2 weeks since and the loss has dramatically subsided. it is normal to lose 20-30 strands a day, but more than that can be devastating over time. i have recommended this product to my clients with thinning hair for all of the 23 years that i've worked 'behind the chair'. i advise them to take 6 per day (not easy...they are huge and taste like dog food smells), i tell them to buy 2 bottles...by the end of the 1st bottle, the loss will dramatically improve, but to take the 2nd bottle as 'insurance'. everyone i have told of this has been successful in stopping hair loss. their only complaint is that their hair grows much faster and they even have to shave their legs more often...small sacrifice to keep a headful of hair! granted, not all hair loss is replaceable, but most in women is at least stoppable.
worked for me September 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had alopecia from menopause. After being tested for all sorts of endocrine functions, and being blown off by 4 doctors, a doctor finally listened to me and referred me to a dermatologist. She told me to use Rogaine, take biotin and get some A/G-Pro.
The combo worked. I have had new hair growth, verified by my hairdresser, who should know.
Because it took me 4 years to get someone to listen to my concern, the hair will never fill in entirely, but it's no longer painful to go out without a wig or hat. I can wear my own hair.
I suggest that if you have hair loss, give this a try. Sooner rather than later. The caution about paople with kidney problems not taking it is valid.
hair growth March 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If for any reason you have lost hair, this product will help you. From having too many operations I was loosing hair on top of my head. A beauty operator told me to try A/G PRO, which I did. After taking 6 pills a day for 3 months I started seeing new hair growth. I took it for one year and the top of my head filled out with hair. Then I took 3 pills a day for 6 months and it was growning on the sides near my eyebrows, so I stopped taking them. After a year I decided to take it again. It is nothing but vitamins. If you have Kidney problems you should not take it because it is too much proteen. I know for sure that it has worked on a lot of women. I don't think it would work on bald headed men, but if they tried it when they start getting bald it might. Hope this helps someone who is losing hair. Bernice Van Vranken
