When shopping around for a yoga mat, note that what many other companies call a 1/4" mat is actually 4.5 - 5.2 mm in thickness -- considerably thinner than this mat. Actually long enough for me! October 21, 2008

I purchased this product in hopes of getting some extra length since I'm 6'2" and got exactly that! The extra thickness also helps when some of my yoga classes are at a center with vinyl flooring. I'm now searching for a yoga bag that will accommodate the extra length!
