Cool, comfortable shoe, but its made in China! January 29, 2008

I love this shoe. The earth print is unique and it happens to be one of the most comfortbale pairs of shoes I own. However, after wearing it for only a few days the rubbery stuff on the toe part started to peel off. I was totally disappointed since I spent $90 on a pair of shoes I thought were eco friendly and well made! However, I am not so sure they are eco-friendly and they started to fall apart in a few wearings. On the box it says its made in China, how can we be positive that anything made in china is absolutely 100% green. They are over priced for what they are. If you don't care about all that they really are cute!
