| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Storm Series from Tubbs gives kids a chance to join Mom and Dad in enjoying the growing sport of snowshoeing. With many of the features found throughout Tubbs adult snowshoe models, the compact design of the Tubbs Storm Boy's snowshoes make them ideal for young boys (40-90 lbs.). The Tubbs QuickDraw Jr. Binding couldn't be any simpler to use, allowing quick-and-easy exit and entry. This adjustable design fits boot sizes from youth 1 and up. A fixed toe cord keeps the Storm Boy's snowshoes securely underfoot, ensuring an even and easy stride pattern. The tapered frame of each Storm Boy's snowshoe is constructed of sturdy 6000 series aluminum. The tapered tail and technical rise of the nose of the frame enhance balance and provide excellent flotation, further ensuring a natural stride. Durable, lightweight decking material provides dependable flotation and holds up extremely well under the rigors of winter adventure (NOTE: A minimum base of 6"-8"of snow is suggested for usage in order to properly protect the integrity of the decking material.). Storm Boy's snowshoes are outfitted with aluminum recreational crampons in the toe and heel, providing constant, dependable traction whether young snowshoe enthusiasts are moving in an uphill, downhill or side hill direction. Sold in pairs and measuring 7" x 19" each, Tubbs Storm Boy's snowshoes are suitable for a total weight (user and gear) of 40-90 lbs.
