Product Description
All Lapco barrels are billet machined from solid 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum blanks. Lapco does not use tubing to make their barrels. Lapco barrels are gun-drilled and micro-honed to exact sizes leaving a near mirror finish to make them the smoothest, most accurate barrels available. Lapco barrels are so straight that they even clean faster and easier, making them the best barrels for the money. The unique counter-bore and porting pattern keeps gas pressure behind the ball where it needs to be and bleeds the pressure out just before it leaves the barrel to help increase efficiency and accuracy. This barrel is also the only barrel that will work with the Lapco Fake Suppressor.

5 out of 5 stars BigShot review   September 7, 2008
Before I bought this barrel, I was shooting through a proto barrel on my tippman 98 custom. The size of the barrel is what I call low profile. I have a custom stock on my tippman so having this barrel shortens my gun's length drastically. I was a little worried about the accuracy and I was hoping for a barrel with at least accuracy close to the proto barrel(which is actually a pretty barrel) I loaded up a hopper full of Wal-Mart's finest (visible impact, grade B+ paint) and let loose. I took one shot and the ball flew right on the money. I was impressed with accuracy being the barrel was so small. But any barrel can shoot one shot straight.....I set the tippman electro trigger to 18BPS and let her fly. Now the paint didn't form a line due to the fact that my gun is heavy and the stock was not out, but I've never seen balls fly so straight with such a small barrel. I can't say that it's the straightest, but its close, and I can give up a little accuracy for maneuverability. The barrel is a bit loud, but on the other hand since it's so short it doesn't require as much air to get 280 or so FPS at the Tip. This barrel is a must for rushers, front players, and speedballers that use tippys. I can't comment on the performance on break because out of the 500 rounds I couldn't get one... =(
