The duffel bag is very good. However, the shoulder strap started to tear after less than two weeks. It's made out of some stretch fabric that separated from the non-stretch mesh fabric of the strap. If this was remedied, it would be an awesome product.

This is the BEST duffel I have ever had, you can take a lot of things in it, ther are several pockets so you can store different kinds of items.
Very durable fabric and the strap for your shoulder was made with a soft material, it makes you feel comfortable and not feel the weight
Great Duffel Bag March 17, 2008
Duffel bag arrived promptly, and seems to be of excellent quality. I haven't had it long enough to be able to attest to its durability through time, but it's exactly what I wanted: handsome bag, not too light, not too heavy, large enough to fit my gym clothes and an extra set of street clothes (so long as I'm not packing any parkas), enough compartments but not too many as to make my bag a toy.
The only complaint is that i'm a big fan of metal zippers, and though the plastic zippers on this bag seem durable, they are no replacement for metal ones. However, I couldn't find a duffel bag that has metal zippers, so this seems like the best of what's available.
I will write a follow-up review after more time has lapsed... so long as I remember to do so. If you don't see a follow up review, all is probably well.
Excellent Bag January 20, 2008
We had gone from store to store trying to find a quality gym bag for out son. We finally found this bag online and took a chance. So far, we have been greatly impressed. This is very durable high quality bag and has been perfect for our son who uses it every day and has already put it through some abuse.

The bag is pretty nice. The pockets are generally big (although my size 10.5 cross trainers have difficulty fitting in one side-pocket when the main pocket is full). The side-pocket venting could be better. Also, the main compartment can be difficult to close: The flap that covers-up the zipper often gets in the way when I'm zipping-up. The one thing that really bugs me is the metal zipper pulls: When everything is zipped-up, they bang together when I walk, and it sounds EXACTLY like I have pockets full of change, and I feel like every panhandler is eyeing me.
