This is a fantastic knife and is still used by the U.S. Military worldwide. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have depended upon Ka-Bar for the past 70+ years. Know that whether you're going hunting or carrying it through the jungles of Central America you won't be disappointed. I've had mine for more then ten years and it still takes an edge that I can shave with.
Quality never comes cheap. This is a GREAT deal at half of retail price. You WON'T be disappointed.
