Amazon.com Product Description Save space when setting up your home gym with this Reebok Speed Pac adjustable dumbbell. The dumbbell offers eight different weights--ranging from 2.5 pounds to 25 pounds--with a maximum of 25 pounds of total resistance. To change the weight, simply slide the pin into the corresponding slot and you're set. Once you've found a spot for the Speed Pac weight, you'll have all the resistance you need in a single space-efficient location. The weight includes a knurled handgrip for comfort and an easy-to-locate storage stray. About Reebok Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.

Not Bad, Not the Best July 16, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I bought this after I started a weight loss regimen and wanted to incorporate some weight lifting. For the price, I can't complain but I want to make sure others out there know what I found out.
1) Sometimes you need to jiggle the knob to get it to lock for a weight. 2) The weights are good but if you don't hold it perfectly still and with proper form, they tend to clank. (which is a problem for me because I ususally get my workouts in during the early morning or late at night).
I am happy I bought these but wish there were a way to stop the clanking which is my biggest gripe with it. All in all, if you can't afford the PowerBlock or the BowFlex, this isn't a bad deal.
