Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. Not Bad, Not the Best July 16, 2008

I bought this after I started a weight loss regimen and wanted to incorporate some weight lifting. For the price, I can't complain but I want to make sure others out there know what I found out.
1) Sometimes you need to jiggle the knob to get it to lock for a weight.
2) The weights are good but if you don't hold it perfectly still and with proper form, they tend to clank. (which is a problem for me because I ususally get my workouts in during the early morning or late at night).
I am happy I bought these but wish there were a way to stop the clanking which is my biggest gripe with it. All in all, if you can't afford the PowerBlock or the BowFlex, this isn't a bad deal.
