I love theses shoes. I can wash them and they just look great. I also have a white pair. I wear them all the time.
 Good for heel spurs August 29, 2008
This is the second pair I've bought. I have heel spurs on both feet and these shoes are soft enough on the back to not put a strain on the spurs. I use them for work and they hold up to the 8-12 hours I'm on my feet, I placed my orthotics on top of the insole so thay might be why.
The Navy color looks drab grey after washing so I don't recommend that color and I haven't washed the glossy black I have yet. I may not wash them because they can be wiped clean.

These are very comfortable for short distance walking but I didn't find them comfortable for longer walks and I don't believe they offer enough support for any type of sports or for people who like longer walks. They are great for wearing around the house and wearing everywhere else though. My husband calls them elf shoes and they do kind of resemble them. But they are so comfortable and so easy to get on and off. I hate shoe strings and I love this style and velcro style of other propet. I have 2 pairs now and will definitely order more when they finally wear out!

I'm really not that old - but I'm finding that I'd rather wear slip-ons than lace-ups for work (surgery) and general knocking around. I saw these a couple of years ago online and decided to get a pair. Then another pair, then more. They're good-looking, EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE and you can throw them in the washing machine if they get dirty. I did that a couple of times with both my blue gardening shoes and my white and navy pair. They looked just fine after the washing and wore just as before. I have four pairs in different colors and plan on getting more before they stop production. My 85-year-old mom loves these as her traveling shoes because they're lightweight and pack well, so now she has three pairs too. Great shoes!!!
