Nice but... September 2, 2008 It's a nice water bottle. It looks good, tastes good, and it works pretty well. It's nice not having to open and close the bottle. Overall though it wasn't the revolution that people seem to think it is if you look at all the reviews out there. I had a hard time biting hard enough and sucking at the same time and I wished that you could bite it a little lower. I have only used it for one short ride so we will see but that was initial impression.
Best Bottle !! July 26, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought the Blue/Silver one. The bottle is transparent so I can see the drink level. The nipple is nice and perfect fit for drinking. I was kind of compelled to order the second bottle from Amazon.com within two weeks again (getting rid of my old bottles). This bottle is a perfect fit for Road Biking, where no time for opening the cap. I never have to squeeze the bottle, all I do I suck for a brief and that works the way I want to drink.
I have at list 8-10 different water bottles but I think this is the best one.
Pro: 1. Suck and Drink. (Although drink flows by itself, without sucking too). 2. Transparent Bottle to See the Drink. 3. Nice shape Sucking Nipple, I love it.
Cons: 1. The Bottle is not Insulated or Thermal. Wish they have a Thermal Product like Polar Bottle.
Finally, a smart water bottle... July 1, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
...I wasn't expecting Camelbak to sell a bike water bottle. The design is ingenious - it works great, doesn't leak and doesn't change the taste of your water. Cheap, comes in different colors and fits nicely in a standard water bottle cage. I bought a couple and went for a ride. First time I ever had a bottle I didn't have to constantly open/close during a ride. Great stuff.
