 What a light! October 3, 2008
I live in a smallish city, so we don't exactly have streetlights everywhere. In fact, with the fall closing in and my unwillingness to admit that it's getting cold, i've been wearing my sweaters and jackets more often, which just so happen to be dark green and black and grey.
No matter. This light is so bright that when i'm riding home after my late class, i never worry. I've only had the light for a few months now, so i can't attest to the longevity, but this is one tough little blinky. Last night i was commuting home from my 7pm class and i got caught in the rain. Pretty nasty stuff, actually. I got soaked. My glasses were fogged up. My light stayed on, didn't fill up with water, didn't short out and kept blinking so that even though i was wearing dark jeans and a black hoodie (with a grey backpack....maybe i need to change these things a little bit) i was still visible. This thing is so bright. I love it.

Purchased this because of the great reviews online. It is super compact and SUPER BRIGHT! If you strapped a couple of these on the roof of your car people would pull over. The only better way to be seen on a bike would be to set yourself on fire! Great product with an amazing price.

I use this light for rowing on a river in the dark. Other boats say it is the brightest and have no trouble spotting me.

Great product; compact and super bright. Flashing mode is very visible. Nice range of mounting options (seat post, rear stay, or clip to a cycle bag). Highly recommended.

I've logged more than 30,000 miles on a bicycle. Hands down...this light is amazing! The strobe effect demands attention and overall the brightness is spectacular.
Two more factors to consider are:
* AAA batteries (cheaper and easier than watch-size or N-size to replace)
* Extremely long battery life of up to 100 hours (remarkable, considering how bright this light actually is)
Spend a couple of extra bucks (just like one should for a good helmet) and you'll likely NEVER know about the dangers it helped you avoid all together.
