Remember when you missed that key turn on your last hike and went two miles too far? Well, that wouldn't have happened if you had the Origo Granite Peak Series Altimeter Watch. The highly accurate altimeter would have provided your elevation within a foot, so you would have known when you were high enough to look for that left turn. The Granite Peak Watch's compass would have let you know that you were hiking in the wrong direction. Origo also added a barometer to this watch that would have warned you of the incoming storm. Maybe you'll bring the right tool for the job next time.

Good watch for the price. July 2, 2008
This is just a simple review. The watch does what it says and is comfortable to boot if you can get past the slightly rigid watch band. It's got a comfortable weight and doesn't feel flimsy. The weather function won't tell you anything that looking up won't simply confirm. All in all though I'm happy with this watch and would make the same purchase again.
