Flat Surface Makes the Difference   November 26, 2008 These are much nicer than any of the previous skewers I have found. We use them mostly for shrimp and the flat surface area makes it easy to cook the food evenly on both sides. No more food rolling around in a circle and getting cooked twice on the same side. Stainless Steel   August 15, 2008 Bought these stainless steel skewers after buying some at the super market. The silver came off after the first use. Bought these, and have used them a few times already and they are as good as new. Very satisfied.. Since the skewers are flat, the meat and vegetables do not twirl aroud and all sides can be cooked evenly. Also since these are all stainless steel, the whole skewer can go on the grill without the worry of damaging the handle.
