 VERY comfortable, classic styling, excellent cut - exceptional price! January 1, 2009
This came on sale and I decided to take a chance without expecting a lot. I ordered it in black and could not be more thrilled. Unlike many similar styles, this has an excellent cut...not bulky, very flattering to the figure. It is a classic style that is versatile enough to be worn with anything from jeans to evening wear - very simple and understated. The black is a true black - deep black not grey. Also...and this is a BIG one for me...the arms provide plenty of freedom of movement without adding additional bulk or heft. Great for long limbed women! In a nutshell, this is the winter equivalent of the 'little black dress'...goes anywhere,fits with anything, looks great all the time.

I bought this in white. The color isn't pure, stark white, but it isn't as off-white as ivory. It is a very attractive, especially in a sea of black and brown coats! The white color seems to reflect light to your face. It has nice seaming on the back to make it fit closer to the body, but still runs true to size. It isn't a heavily-lined, super, warm coat for sub-zero temps, but isn't flimsy, either. It is nice for 20+ degrees, especially if you need to leave it on while shopping or something. I would recommend keeping it clean by wearing a scarf or turtleneck, just so your skin isn't constantly touching the collar (but I do this with most coats.)I have received many compliments on it!
